Wish 00:02
Hello, dear humanity! Welcome to Human Thesaurus Podcast. I'm your host, slash birthday girl Wish Ronquillo Peacocke.

Wish 01:13
As it is my birthday today, 13th of March, I'd like to make this extra episode as a special just to challenge myself and reflect on the past year in my new year infusing words to describe them.

Wish 03:17
My past year summary in proper nouns would be Melbourne Mornington Peninsula, Australia, Pepper the dog, Venus Bay, the Robinsons, the Georges, the Simpsons. Laura, Attica, Singapore, Holland village, Peranakan, Sichuan. So these are some of the remarkable things that I could remember at the top of my head that I kind of lived for the past year. So they are the good memories. They are the new friends, good family that will always have a special place in my heart. And then for common nouns, I've got poetry, beach, books, summer, autumn, cocktails, coffees, concrete shakes, Boba teas, burgers, steaks, noodles, antiques, hand sanitizer. I should be rapping this. Surgeries, injections, sedatives, medicines, gardens, sunrise, sunsets, food, friends old and new, podcast, business. So it's very interesting, isn't it, when you lay it all out by just words without even explaining it. But it's pretty straightforward. How about for verbs? To summarise, it was chilled, contemplated, culled gardening, dogsitting, planned, packed, vaccinated, flew, moved, quarantined, shocked, shook, endured, concluded, harnessing, embracing, reflecting, seeing more gardening, loving and sweating. Yeah, I did a lot. I always do a lot, because if not, I'm going to get bored. And then when I get bored, I'm going to be lazy. And then when I go lazy, then probably I'm going to get depressed. So I don't do that. But I always have a lot of resting. So I needed to add that for the verb. And now for the adjectives, I could summarise my past year as peaceful, reflective, blithesome, contented, appreciative, choosy, brave, focused, lost, stuck, chill, busy, restless, and thrilled.

Wish
So, moving forward, I made myself choose some keywords to live by to my 43rd year in this world. These are garden, poems, cats, husband, home, friendships, podcast, business, food, sunscreen, skincare, facial, beauty, for nouns. And then how about for verbs? I would say write, explore, assess, cherish, nurture, effectuate, anticipate, edit, produce, record, publish, and forge. How's that for verbs? And simply for adjectives, it's just going to be a few themes for my year. It's going to be steadfast, affirmative, positive, dauntless, and devoted.

Wish
So all of these things, I think it's a good approach. This is a new approach for me because as a poet and I really love words. So I think it's a beautiful way and an artistic way to just put keywords, as goals. So it's less complicated, but it's also fun to play around it for me, it's just all of these things that I could live by and look forward to.

Wish
So having birthday since I turned 30 is something that I celebrate more than when I was younger, I suppose because I have more concept of how a year goes by and how you reflect on it it's a little bit more on a different level. So for me it's like celebrating that I am alive and regardless of how bad or good everything is you just have to dig deep and that's what I've been doing because for me I always believe that while I still have this life then I could do so many things. I could always make the choices. I'm just not 6ft under and then you're dead. You can't do anything really. Yeah, it's all about that. So I just wanted to have this short little birthday special for you just to give you a little bit more of the concept as an extra for this podcast so thank you so much for hanging out with me for a little while. It's nice catching up with you in this different special format just for my birthday. Happy birthday to me!

Wish
As a closing, words are very powerful it sets the tone in our lives. You may want to think about your own synonyms as themes for your life. Perhaps you'd like to share them with me through my social media or email, and probably I could summarise them and make another special edition.
